How does the course help me and my dog?

The course acts as an advanced course for puppies. Through the course, the relationship with your dog is strengthened. What is learned in the basic training is anchored here. Through more and more distraction and generalization your dog will internalize the commands. Furthermore, you learn to understand the age of your dog, because in puberty, the dog, just like humans, goes through a change in the brain.

Learning content and goals

Build-up training with distraction and generalization

Specific training will strengthen your dog's behavior in different situations. Start with simple exercises and gradually increase the difficulty. Generalization ensures that the behavior is reliably retrieved in similar situations. This way your dog develops a stable behavioral foundation.

Clicker training

Clicker training is an effective and reward-based method to shape and improve your dog's behavior. By using a clicker as a precise marker, your dog receives immediate feedback on what behavior is desired. This allows for quick learning, gradual progress, and fosters a close bond between you and your faithful companion.

Orientation training

Train with your dog on specific orientation exercises to build a strong bond and promote his safety. Together, you'll learn to walk safely on a leash, ignore distractions, and build confidence in unfamiliar situations. Improve your communication and create a secure foundation for living together in harmony.

"What was sitz again"

What has been learned cannot always be recalled. The frontal lobe, which is responsible for weighing impulses, is one of the last areas of the brain to enter the developed state. Therefore, pubescent dogs find it difficult to resist impulses. This means "being active" in the interest of the young, growing quadruped. His impetuous urge to move must be taken into account; after all, we want to steer his behavior in public into orderly channels and in the process raise him in a manner appropriate to his species to become a member of the "pack association family" who is secure in the hierarchy.

Nach dem "Puber-Tier"-Kurs kann man in die Junghunde und dann in die Begleithunde um dort die Begleithundeprüfung zu absolvieren. Des weiteren gibt es viele andere Kurse die besucht werden können, z.B. Dummy-Kurs, FUN-Kurs, Rally Obedience etc...
