Well-trained from the beginning until 6 months. In puppy school, your puppy learns social behavior through play. We help you to get through the important puppy period well and avoid mistakes at the beginning.
How does the course help me and my dog?
The course forms the basis for training the puppy. The puppy is playfully taught to master the dangers of everyday life and to learn socialization. With our 12-week training plan, we train a new learning objective every week and monitor the learning success. Short units of games, courses and exercises alternate so that the little ones are not overwhelmed. The puppy course is also a contact point for any questions you may have about your new family member.
Learning content and goals
Dogs are pack animals and need the contact with conspecifics. In the puppy play course different dog breeds of the same age meet each other, so that e.g. big dogs learn the right way to deal with small dogs (careful playing), but also small dogs are not afraid of big dogs (fear biting is avoided). It is ensured that puppies do not gain bad experiences with other dogs and no misbehavior is consolidated.
First training games are carried out with dog and human, so that already the young dog learns, for example, not to pull on the leash or to come to his owner when called. It is important to start early with the training, because a correction of undesirable behavior is much more costly and time-consuming than to avoid mistakes from the beginning.
The puppies are confronted with different environmental stimuli in a measured way. They learn to cope with unfamiliar situations (rapid opening of umbrellas, rattling garbage cans, loud shopping carts, etc.), thereby reducing fears.
Many people get a dog without being clear about behavior and education beforehand. Puppy owners in particular have many questions (e.g. "How do I get the dog house-trained?", "How do I feed it properly?", "How long is the puppy allowed to go for a walk?", etc.) and need a lot of support when raising it. In the puppy play classes, owners also learn basic things about their new family member.
Im Welpenkurs wurden die Anfänge der Ausbildung gemacht. Danach geht es in den „Puber-Tier“-Kurs wo das gelernte gefestigt wird.
